Records continue to fall at Age Group Championships

Day two of the England Athletics Under 17 and Under 15 Championships Age Group Disability Athletics Championships continued where day one left off, with two more championships best performances as well as plenty of drama, action and ranking-topping performances.

Records fall on Day One at Bedford

Three championship best performances provided the headlines on day one of the England Athletics Under 17 and Under 15 Championships Age Group Disability Athletics Championships, as records tumbled in the long jump, pole vault and finally in the 300 metres defying the increasingly wet and blustery conditions.

New Guide to Engaging Disabled People now available

Sport England, together with the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) have produced a research report and a Guide on engaging disabled people. This looks at the vital ingredients that make up successful and accessible communications - such as the channels themselves, marketing materials and how to give people a great first experience in sport.

South Movement Skills workshops announced

The South Team can now confirm movement skills workshop 1 and 2 that are available. The workshops will cost £15 to attend and are aimed at assisting all leaders / coaches at all qualification levels, for all different ability and age of the athletes they are working with.

This weekend sees the last of our summer 2016 track and field championships, with the England Athletics Under 17 and Under 15 and Disability Age Group Athletics Championships in Bedford. This is your chance to watch our senior athletes of the future compete in a full programme of track and field events.
